Principally, ManAnew focuses on men and their mental health. We are redefining the bro-code allegiances to mean men looking out for their fellow men, for good, and not for the upholding of unwholesomeness. Lingering menaces like absentee fathering, DNA/Paternity test mismatches, sex trafficking, violence, and hostile masculinity will be eradicated as we attend more and more to men’s mental health.

ManAnew welcomes men who determined before marriage that they would never physically violate, emotionally manipulate, or sexually endanger their wives, and live accordingly. It is for men who uphold the refinement of zero violations against their wives.

The pursuit here is towards having men who committedly live honorable lives. We promote it as possible, realistic, doable, and worth sustaining since no one ever accepts dishonor with a smile. The dishonor of a DNA paternity test is one no man ever accepts and if we look closely, we will see how we, the men, more than the women, can end that dishonor. Sexual fidelity in, or before marriage is undoubtedly desired by most people, hence the continued condemnation, following any form of infidelity. We are all out to instill more honor consciousness in our lives.

Likewise, Intimate Partner Violence IPV, and other gender-based violations are generally unaccepted, yet we go on as though they are not. ManAnew helps galvanize men who want this desired life of zero violence and zero cheating in marriages, zero sexual harassment, zero subjugation, and zero denial of legacies/traditional rights.

Here also, under what we identify as Marrying, NOT Marring, we interrogate the roles we play as men and their consequences in our marriages. We look at the word “marrying”, as derived from “marry” which, among many things, means “to weld.” Conversely, “marring,” derived from the word “mar” means “to deform, or damage.”

We encourage one another always to pursue “marrying,”  not “marring,” as we daily engage with our wives.

Why ManAnew

Because men drown more and more, day in, and day out, with their mental health being increasingly unattended. They drown in their unshed tears and unheard cries. Men need more platforms and avenues to let off steams that increasingly boil them up from inside, then out. Men, especially in marriages, seem to have soured so much and for so long that being a married man now almost passes one for being and doing more and more evil. The aridity of men who can be trusted in their marriages worsens daily. Because relationships and marriages are not going extinct, (faithful) men need to sharpen every inch they can, in their lives, careers, and spirituality.

Sadly, there seems to be this water-tight bro code, or humanity code silence in addressing the issues surrounding violatory sexual practices, violence against women, DNA Test mismatch/infidelity, and distracted or absentee fatherhood. We understand the many challenges in making one’s life and marriage beautiful so we come together to encourage ourselves toward excellence.  We believe in men. We believe more men desire to be much better than they are, for themselves, their parents, wives, children, relatives, colleagues, and friends. More men need to commit themselves to being and doing better. ManAnew provides this platform where men can freely unburden, charge, and recharge themselves, to be better, for themselves, and the world.
